Day two of MUNI strike.

Blocks walked = 67--in addition to 150 minutes spent on the elliptical machine at the YMCA (I'm just sayin').

Spectacular storm clouds and blue sky made today's walks a joy.

So ... cute ... can't ... resist. Also a little grumpy-looking ... not projecting ... perfect mixture of cute + grumpy = love.

*Also looks a little like a bat, around the edges. Don't you think?

Nobody likes poetry.

One, you're wrong. Two--

People say they like it but they don't. They don't open a book of poetry and just sit there and read it.

They do. I do. I sit at home and read books of poetry.

No you don't.

I do.

...

Okay, well, usually I have the TV on at the same time. But with the sound turned down.

All the way down?

Almost.

Good news in Vermont. Mr. Sullivan.

Read the note too--sweet and inspiring.

Whittard of Chelsea Very Very Berry tea.

INGREDIENTS.
Hibiscus 48%, Rosehip 23%, Apples 15%, Flavouring 11% (Blackberry, Strawberry, Raspberry), Elderberries 3%.

Kibbitz:

Go all in for Chrissakes! Round up Hibiscus to 50%. I don't care if it's Very Very Berry tea. Hibiscus is tasty. What? What? Am I talking to myself here?

Drop the Rosehip and Apples. Yada, yada, yada. Not impressed. No. No. Pass. I said pass.

Blackberry, Strawberry, Raspberry, Elderberry. 50%. What's not to like?

Money shot.

There is a decision to be made and I must make it. Soon. As it is, indecision has hung heavy on my bones for too long.

What's the price you've paid?

50 pounds.

What's the price you've paid?

50 pounds. I pay it still.

The Richmond District, where I live, doesn't have light rail, only buses. Buses called MUNI that are slow, sticky and stinky. We don't own a car and I've decided to experiment by giving up buses this week--first time in 16 years of riding them. I will walk across the city if I have to. That's how much they suck.

The flowerpots downtown are pretty though, Gavin. They would look fabulous on a slow, sticky, stinky bus bound for the Richmond.
