I was determined to watch the Lost primer tonight, but found myself stranded in the shower with a strange lavender-smelling sudslike substance in my hair. So I missed important puzzle pieces.

Here I am watching the Lost season premiere (I think) and am enjoying the sweaty vaguely orange people and all the green lushness.

First line of dialogue that's really caught my attention: "We've got a problem down at the Orchid!" This line is just so great I'm totally down for whatever happens at the Orchid--or any other Flower Place.

In more local news, the infrastructure (roads) are being repaired in my neighborhood and I, like my love Rachel Maddow, am THRILLED (Rachel is a HUGE fan of the Richmond District). Supervisor Eric Mar, is that you I should thank? Thank you!
