Audiences in SF

Flat affect.
Dull.
Unappreciative.
Preoccupied.
It's flat-out embarrassing.
What exactly does it take to wake you up?

Signed,
One appreciator who dances and claps

It appears to be an extremely cynical and naive move. Do JM and shefellows really think in such simplistic terms?

Or do they think we think in such simplistic terms?

Or both?

Tone-deafness seems to be the order of the day.

Did you not hear?

Clearly bells have already been rung. Bells that--once rung--can not be un ... rung.

Also it's a big mistake to go anti-bear.

Never underestimate the power of the bear.

They may be swimming blind.

But we've got their backs.

We imagine you can't imagine what we're on about.

We imagine correctly.

Hay-on-Wye

I am thinking of stories that began three years ago--or so they imagine.

And I am wishing for a three-month stay. So I can finish what I started where I started it.

Got it?

Good. Because I don't.
