This afternoon I walked into my neighborhood police station and asked if they had a suggestion box. The man behind the window said nicely "No, I'm sorry. But if you write a letter and put it in an envelope I'll give it to the Captain." "That's what I'll do. Thank you," I said, and left. The other two officers behind the window looked at me with a combination of wonder and wariness. I guess no one just walks in and asks that type of question. Um, big surprise, right. Anyway, if you're driving through the Richmond District any time soon, please don't speed and please don't run lights/stop signs. Because I'm through being cool.
